It has been discovered that QCPRO’s shared folders can no longer be viewed after updating “Windows 11 version 24H2”.
\nAs a result, if the client is referencing the inspection list etc. from the file server or QCPRO server,
\nthe inspection list etc. will not be able to be displayed.<\/p>\n
Therefore, if you are using Windows 11, please turn off Windows automatic updates.
\nWe will contact you as soon as we know the measures.
\n(Users who have already updated to Windows 11 24H2 and are able to use QCPRO without any problems can continue to use it as is.)
\nIf you are using a version other than Windows 11, the following measures are not applicable,
\nbut please keep this in mind if you update to Windows 11 in the future.<\/p>\n
\u25a0Procedure to stop Windows 11 automatic updates.
\n(1) Press Windows + R and type \u2018services.msc\u2019 in the dialogue box \u2018Run’.
\nPress Enter to open \u2018Windows Services\u2019.
\n(2) Scroll down the list of services and find the Windows Update service.
\nDouble-click the Windows Update service to open the \u2018Properties\u2019 window.
\n(3) On the \u2018General\u2019 tab, click the drop-down icon next to the \u2018Startup type\u2019 option,
\nSelect the \u2018Disabled\u2019 option.
\n(4) Click \u2018Apply\u2019 and then \u2018OK\u2019 to close the window.
\nThis will disable automatic Windows 11 updates.
\nIf you want to switch on Windows 11 automatic updates again, go to Windows Services again,
\nEnable the Windows update service<\/p>\n

\nFrom Windows 11 24H2 onwards, to improve security,
\nGuest users are now blocked from accessing shared folders.
